This new feature is very similar to Facebook’s “Save” option which allows users to revisit a post they like. Well, this wouldn’t be a surprise as Instagram was acquired by Facebook.

The new update will be rolled out under Instagram’s version 10.2 and are available on both iOS and Android devices – in the Apple App Store and Google Play respectively.
